The arborist came and inspected the tree and concluded there wasn’t any way to save it, the split was way too bad, so it was finally scheduled for removal on Wednesday. Martin went out on Monday to take a look at the tree and sure enough, you could see the effect of the split. There was a thin line of dying leaves in the tree.
8You can see the dying leaves directly above the trunk. The utilities people had flagged the yard so the arborists would know not to drop any heavy pieces of tree there.
